Cayman DITC Updated Bulletin

Cayman DITC Upcoming reporting deadlines for the 2019 and 2020 reporting period:

  • 2019 and 2020 CRS Reporting due July 31, 2021
  • 2019 and 2020 CRS Filing Declaration due July 31, 2021
  • 2019 and 2020 FATCA Reporting due July 31, 2021
  • 2019 and 2020 CRS Compliance Form Due September 15, 2021

The DITC Compliance Team identified certain areas where FIs may not have complied with CRS Regulations. The Team notes that noncompliance may result in an Administrative Penalty of up to $50,000 for a body corporate or $20,000, otherwise. Where applicable, criminal prosecution may be initiated by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
